TMCC STORY
Hi! We’re TMCC also known as The Multicultural Channel.
We started making videos in 2016 but simply didn’t have the time to carry on with content creation, so our, at the time, YouTube channel was dormant for a good amount of time. The YouTube channel remains on the inactive side of things at the time of writing this but that is because in 2020 we decided to reboot TMCC and take a bit of a different approach to content creation.

In Early 2020 we decided to start a Twitch Livestream which is kind of where our main story begins, We reformed TMCC with 5 Members, who are as follows, MaxVT100, RanjitPlayz, Hysz, Yosemite and Moaty673. We decided to create the new twitch channel and spend a good amount of time creating new channel art, making sure our content was of a good quality (which is of course very debatable) and trying to reach out to as much people as possible. We initially started streaming as much as we could, pumping out content every day for as long as we could, with this we found that the quality of the content was terrible and we very quickly arrange a rough schedule for the channel to be based on. As soon as we started this new, semi organised livestream, we started to grow ever so slightly. This was partly due to us streaming a closed-beta game called Valorant which twitch viewers had the chance to win access to by watching live streamers that we’re streaming it. This brought in the small but appreciated audience which over the month period of the Valorant Closed Beta allowed us achieve our first major milestone!

In Late May 2020 we got invited to the Twitch Affiliate Program which is given to streamers that have a channel growing to the point where twitch deems it appropriate to unlock many features for the streamer such as, allowing viewers to subscribe to the twitch channel, earn channel points for watching the stream and being able to buy custom channel point rewards using them, allowing subscribers to use custom channel emotes and much more! Ultimately Twitch Affiliate allows the streamer to start earning money from streaming on Twitch but for us it’s more of utilising the features of the Twitch Affiliate Program to say thank you to our viewers for being so loyal and returning to our streams regularly and providing them with fun, engaging features for the stream.

In 2020 along with the reboot of TMCC we were offered a place in the RazerStreamer Program which supports the stream even more and has formed one of the main themes of the new twitch channel and we appreciate all the support they provide for the channel! #RazerStreamer
